TourPro can send native push notifications to teammates running the TourPro mobile app. Use it for schedule changes, last-minute logistics, or any tour-wide announcement.
Permissions
You need the Send notifications permission on the tour to send anything. By default this is granted to Tour Manager, Artist Manager, and Production Manager roles.
Recipients only get a notification if they:
- Are a member of the tour, and
- Have the TourPro mobile app installed and signed in (so a push token is registered).
See Roles, Permissions, and Groups for the full permission matrix.
Send a Notification
Open the Notifications tab
In your tour, click Settings in the sidebar, then choose the Notifications tab.
Choose who receives it
Pick a recipient option:
- All tour members — every member of this tour.
- Specific People — search for and select individual members.
Write the message
Add a Title (the bold line that appears on the lock screen) and a Body (the message itself). Keep the title short — phones truncate long titles.
Send
Click Send. Recent notifications appear below with their status (pending, sent, delivered, or failed).
Receiving Notifications on Mobile
For a teammate to receive notifications, they must:
- Install TourPro Mobile from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in with the same account they were invited with.
- Allow notifications when the OS prompts on first launch.
If a teammate isn’t getting notifications, see Mobile First-Time Setup and confirm OS-level notification permissions are on for TourPro.
What Counts as a Notification
The Notifications tab is for manual announcements you write. TourPro may also send automated reminders for upcoming events — those are sent by the system and do not consume your manual send capability.
