You can drag flight confirmation emails or itinerary PDFs straight into TourPro. The AI importer extracts the flight number, times, airports, and passengers and creates a structured travel event on the right day.
Supported File Types
- PDF (
.pdf) — itineraries from travel agents, airline confirmations - Email (
.eml) — exported confirmation emails - Plain text (
.txt) — pasted itineraries saved as a.txtfile
Each file must be 10 MB or smaller.
Where to Find It
Open your tour, go to Schedule → Travel, then click Import Flights.
You need the Edit travel permission to import flights.
Import a Flight
Open the Travel dashboard
In your tour, click Schedule in the sidebar and switch to the Travel view.
Open the importer
Click Import Flights to open the upload panel.
Drag in your itineraries
Drag one or more files into the upload area, or click to browse. You’ll see each file in a queue with its size and type.
Start the import
Click Import. TourPro reads each file with AI, identifies the flights, and creates them on the matching dates within your tour.
Review the summary
When the import finishes you’ll see a summary:
- Files processed — how many files were read.
- Flights detected — how many flights the AI found.
- Flights created — how many were actually added.
- Outside Range — flights that fall outside your tour’s start/end dates and were skipped.
Only flights inside your tour’s date range are added. If you see “Outside Range” in the summary, double-check the tour’s start and end dates in Settings → Details.
After Import
Each imported flight appears as a travel event on the day it departs. Open it to:
- Verify flight number, airline, and times.
- Add or remove passengers.
- Add seat assignments and confirmation numbers.
AI imports are a starting point — always confirm record locators, seats, and passenger names match the source itinerary before sharing day sheets.
