TourPro AI tools reference
These are the tools available when you connect TourPro to Claude or ChatGPT. You do not call them by name. Ask in plain language and the assistant picks the right tool.
Every tool runs as you. It sees and changes only what your TourPro role allows. Tools that remove or cancel something need your explicit confirmation. Tools that email or notify other people are marked below.
Advance a show from chat
Advancing means collecting the details you need from a venue before show day: load-in, power, parking, catering, and so on. Here is a complete example.
1. Ask Claude or ChatGPT to set it up.
Advance the Boston show on April 20. Make a venue advance called “Boston venue advance” with fields for load-in time, parking, shore power, and catering.
The assistant finds the show with list_events, then calls create_advance with that date, a title, and the form fields.
2. Fill in answers as you get them.
The venue says load-in is 14:00, parking for two buses is behind the building, and shore power is available.
The assistant calls get_advance to read the form, then update_advance to save those answers and set the status to in progress.
3. Check what is missing.
What’s still open on the Boston advance?
The assistant reads the advance and lists the fields with no answer yet.
4. Finish it.
Catering is confirmed for 6 people. Mark the advance done.
The assistant saves the answer and sets the status to done. To remove an advance, ask for it by name. The assistant asks you to confirm before deleting.

What the assistant cannot do
- Send push notifications or day sheet emails to your crew
- Change billing, or change the roles and permissions of people already on a tour
- Upload files
- Book flights or hotels. TourPro records travel, it does not purchase it.
