Frequently asked questions

Is this stage plot maker really free?

Yes - it runs entirely in your browser, needs no account, and exports PNG and PDF with no watermark over the diagram itself. We made it because a legible stage plot makes every show day easier, including ours.

How do I make a stage plot?

Add items from the palette - vocal and instrument mics, DI boxes, wedges, amps, drums, keys, risers - then drag each into position. Tap an item to rename, rotate, or delete it, fill in your artist, venue, and date, and download the PNG or PDF.

What do venues want on a stage plot?

Musician positions, numbered inputs matching your input list, backline and drums, monitor wedges or IEMs, risers, and power drops - plus the artist name, date, venue, and an advancing contact. See our stage plot template for the full checklist.

Does my stage plot get saved?

It auto-saves to your browser as you work, so you can come back and keep editing. Nothing is uploaded - clearing your browser storage removes it. Export the PNG or PDF for the copy you send to venues.

On tour, the plot lives inside the advance

A stage plot is one page of the advancing pack. TourPro keeps it next to the input list, hospitality rider, schedule, and contacts so the venue, the engineer, and your crew all work from the same document - updated in one place when plans change. Advances in TourPro.
